Trinity Access Programme

Deansrath Community College are proud partners with the Trinity Access Programme. We have many past pupils who have transferred to third level qualifications via this programme.

The Trinity Access Programme’s mission is to work in partnership across the education sector with students, teachers, families, communities, and businesses to widen access and participation at third level of under-represented group.

Access for all to University

We are including an article from a recent edition of The Irish Times written by Dr KatrionaO’Sullivan who is a lecturer in Psychology at NUI Maynooth.

Katriona completed a BA in Psychology from 2004 to 2008, and a PhD in Psychology from 2008 to 2012.

Katriona’s story of how she came through the Trinity Access Programme can also be found in the book Trinity Tales -Trinity College Dublin in the 2000s, published by Lilliput Press.

It is a powerful story of how a determined young person succeeded in overcoming the many obstacles placed in her way.
