This is a one year full time Hair and Beauty course leading to a QQI Level 5 award.
The course provides a learning environment for both theory and practical skills in a modern fully equipped college hairdressing salon and offers the learner the practical and theoretical skills necessary for employment in the hairdressing and beauty sector.
On achieving the full award learners may gain employment in hairdressing salons, beauty salons and can practice privately.
This award will provide learners with opportunities to transfer and progress to programmes leading to higher education and training awards. The learner may be eligible to apply to progress to the next or higher levels of the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
