Engineering Technology PLC

This is a one year full time course leading to a Level 5 QQI Award in Engineering Technology.

This course is run in conjunction with IT Tallaght and one module per week is taken in the Institute of Technology Tallaght.

This course enables the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence in the area of Engineering.  These skills would form the basis of any course in engineering which learners might later pursue at a third level institution or on an apprenticeship. Practical workshop sessions form an integral part of the course.

Upon successful completion of this pre-entry course, the learner will be able to progress to Diploma and Degree courses in third level colleges e.g. Institute of Technology Tallaght.  Past graduates have also gained employment within the community as a result of completing this course.

This course starts in September and ends in late May.  Timetabling schedule may change.
