Applied Psychology Level 5

Overview

This is a two year part time course leading to a Level 5 QQI Award in Community Health Services.

This two year course in Psychology will give learners an introduction to the core theories and methodologies of psychology and prepare them for further study at third level. The course content contains subjects essential to those seeking to progress in the area academically or to apply psychology theories to areas of management and business. Learners with level 5 may be eligible for roles in social care, health care, community support, information officer, youth work, marketing, fundraising and will have developed skills useful to careers in Human Resources, Marketing and Public relations.

Entry Requirements

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
